How you help Project MANA could definitely not accomplish what we do without the overwhelming support of our friends, supporters, and volunteers. You can make a difference by donating funds, hosting a food drive or other event, and volunteering. Most volunteer opportunities require only 1-2 hours per week.
About us Project MANA believes that adequate food for the maintenance of physical, emotional, and mental well-being is a basic human right, as in the best interest of the community. Since July of 1991, Project MANA has responded to the emergency food needs of individuals, families, and children in North Lake Tahoe and Truckee communities. To achieve our mission we have developed a variety of programs to assist in alleviating hunger and identifying its root causes.
